The Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, is awe-inspiring with old ghost towns and mines, abundant nature and wildlife.  See limestone cliffs, lush hillsides, flowing mountain streams and beautiful waterfalls (and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for mountain goats, deer and other furry critters.

​​What makes our tours differ from others?

• Open-Top offers the only Jeep excursions to lesser known and out of the way Northern Black Hills locations (old mines, waterfalls, fire lookouts). Some of the gravel trails may be a little rough (not dangerous) but will provide you with wonderful scenic viewing and chance wildlife encounters. ​​
• This is not a rock-crawler tour nor a milk-toast bus ride. It's a Fun Tour!
  
• Our Jeep tours are designed for couples, families and groups up to 20+.

Itinerary - 7 to 8 Hour Tour

   8:00am - Depart Rapid City
   8:30am - Sturgis Photo Ops 
  9:00am - Bridal Viel Falls   
10:30am - Cement Ridge Fire Lookout  
12:00pm -  Roughlock Falls (Picnic Lunch Included) 
   1:00pm - Terry Peak Fire Lookout
   2:00pm - Nemo
   3:30pm - Rapid City

Tour includes: bottled water, snacks and picnic lunch.
You may bring any food or beverage you like.
We pick you up at any Rapid City lodging or meet you at convenient location.
Suggest you bring: hat, light jacket, layered clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen and binoculars.
