INFORMATION ABOUT THE BLACK HILLS REGION
We've discovered about 90% of the first time visitors to the Black Hills know only of Mount Rushmore. This is understandable . . . Mount Rushmore is the “Shrine of Democracy” and together with the Statue of Liberty, the Dual Icons of America. However, there is much more to the ‘Hills’ . . . numerous destinations and adventures to experience! Many people are disappointed they did not schedule more time to explore the region or missed an opportunity to visit an attraction on the way to here.

It's not easy combining several Regions in a day tour.

There are hotels, B&B's and cabins located throughout the Hills. However, if you are staying for 3 or more days and intend to tour multiple destinations . . . Rapid City may be your choice . . . its central to roads and highways. Of course its up to you . . . there are many great lodging locations.
