  • ​We drive Old Nemo Road (Stopping for short history of the town Nemo)
  • Next old town Galena (History of and resting place for famous Aunt Sally)
  • Short visit at Sanford/Homestake Center (Old Gold and New Science)
  • Drive Spearfish Canyon (Its older than the Grand Canyon)
  • Stop for short hike at Roughlock Falls (Then a picnic lunch by stream)
  • Short walk to visit Spearfish Falls (Waft of mist will amuse and cool you) 
  • We continue on with one more stop at Bridal Viel Falls (Great photo ops)
                               - OPTIONS HERE -
  • A-  On to the old gunfighter town of Deadwood (We tour famous locations)
    • Mt Moriah Cemetery (Resting place for Wild Bill and Calamity Jane)
    • Old No. 10 Saloon (Notorious for Wild Bills last poker hand)
    • Walk along the Old Main Street (Visiting the many attractions)
    • Watch gunfight reenactment (every 2 hours the same 4 guys die)
    • On the way back to Rapid City we drive through infamous Sturgis                  Great for photo ops and Harley t-shirt buying
  • B- Continue on old backroads and explore the western side of the Hills. 
    • ​Old gold towns, Cement Ridge Tower, hiking trails and great photos.
In Jeeps - 
​There are wonderful backroads that take you to places few see. Old Ghost towns, abandoned gold mines and fire lookout stations. This is the perfect adventure in one of our specialized 'Sunshine and Fresh Air' Jeeps! Wonderful vistas and photo ops without needing to leave the vehicle.
  • Our favorite tour takes you to Rough Lock Falls, Iron Creek, Cement Ridge Lookout and the ghost town of Tinton. 
  • Hiking and additional attractions may be added. This is a Private Tour and you can modify it to fit you.  ​​
In Vans - 
A little more comfort and less Jeep trails we offer tours in our Convertible-Top-Vans - 10 ft sliding tops (easy open/close). 
  • Spearfish Canyon - It's older than the Grand Canyon, has waterfalls, 1000 foot cliffs and an abundance of vegetation.  Short hikes  at waterfall with streamside  picnic lunch. 
  • Additional attractions may be added - hiking trails, gold panning and old gold towns. This is a Private Tour that we can customize for you.
