We have discovered 9 in 10 of the first time visitors to the Black Hills know only of Mount Rushmore.
This is understandable . . . Mount Rushmore is the “Shrine of Democracy” and together with the Statue of Liberty, the Dual Icons of America.
However, there is much more to the ‘Hills’ . . . numerous destinations to see and adventures to experience! Many people are disappointed they did not schedule more time to explore the region or missed an opportunity to visit an attraction on the way to here.
The Black Hills are 60 miles wide- 125 miles long
and consist of 4 Regions.
It's not easy combining several Regions in a day tour. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your vacation.
If you are staying for 3 or more days and intend to tour most destinations . . . you may want to stay in Rapid City because it's central in the Hills and the junction for major highways. However this is up to you! Please call or Inquire if you need more information- 605.644.6736
